THE CLIENT ASKED BUREAU BRAUN TO EXPLORE OTHER FINISH OPTIONS FOR THE EXISTING KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS AND AND BACKSPLASH, WHILE INTEGRATING THE APARTMENT MATERIALITY ACROSS THE BOARD.
IN ADDITION, THE CLIENT REQUESTED PROPOSALS TO ENCLOSE THE DEN/OFFICE ADJACENT TO THE KITCHEN FOR OCCASIONAL USE AS A GUEST ROOM.
LASTLY, THE EXISTING WOOD FLOOR WAS TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE MASTER BEDROOM, WHERE WALL-TO-WALL CARPET WAS EXISTING.
PROPOSAL
BUREAU BRAUN MADE NINE MATERIAL PROPOSALS FOR THE CLIENT’S CONSIDERATION FOR THE KITCHEN COUNTERTOP AND BACKSPLASH.
WE WORKED WITH MILLWORKER TO PROPOSE A FLEXIBLE, SLIDING PARTITION SYSTEM TO ENCLOSE THE GUEST BEDROOM WHEN NEEDED, WHILE ENSURING CODE COMPLIANCE (50% POROSITY).
BUREAU BRAUN WORKED WITH A FLOORING SUBCONTRACTOR TO MATCH THE EXISTING (AND DISCONTINUED) AFRICAN TEAK (IROKO) FLOORING.
